Truffert a target
At last, some transfer news to get reasonably excited about.
Adrien Truffert, the Rennes defender is the latest player to appear on the Iron’s radar.
Currently valued at £15m , the promising French left back would be a well needed addition to our problematic left back position.
The 21 year old has made a total of 87 appearances in Ligue 1, and contributed four goals and 14 assists . He also acquitted himself well in five Champions League matches.
Securing Truffert’s services could be a significant coup for West Ham as he is highly regarded and has no shortage of suitors.
Plus we get a chance to see him this afternoon when the Irons take on Rennes in a friendly.
If this young man is a good player as every indication, then surely he would be a great buy for us? If so, can we please negotiate sensibly, make a decent offer, and set out to get him. No embarrassing half price offers making us look like no-marks and encouraging them to do business elsewhere? Just do the bizzo and stop all the cheap posing please!
