David Gold has revealed that Winston Reid won’t be risked in tomorrow evening’s (Thurs) clash with Astra FC.
The Kiwi has picked up a small knock and the co chairman explained on Twitter that he won’t be risked.
The other absentee of course will be Pedro Obiang who as we reported earlier today will not return to training until next week.
Gold tweeted: “Winston will not be risked on Thursday” And in a separate tweet he said: “Obiang will be back in training next week. dg”
Manager Slaven Bilic has some interesting decisions to make follow the excellent Irons last half hour against Norwich last night with Dimitri Poyet in particular enjoying a great run out.
The player himself, commenting on the official site recently, said that he was ready for action and wanted to be involved in every remaining pre-season game!”
