Upbeat Noble: “We won’t wilt”

|

Mark Noble firmly believes all will be well when Burnley come to town.

And the captain applauded the fans who made the journey to the Liberty Stadium despite the disgusting weather last weekend.

Speaking to the official website he said: “I don’t think we will wilt because we’re at home, which is a big plus for us at the minute. Do I think we’ll be fine? Yes, because I think we’ve got enough here and we will pick up results.

We need to play with high intensity and go back to how we played against Chelsea and Arsenal before Christmas. If we do that, we’ll be fine.

I know a lot of the fans weren’t happy, but they were still there at the Liberty Stadium, despite all the snow and weather around, and I am sure they will be there again at London Stadium this weekend, and we’ll do all we can to give them all something to shout about.”

Nobes, you are a great ambassador to our club but you should be dropped imo. The team on sat has to be Adrian, Zabaletta, Collins, Ogbanna, Rice, Cresswell, Kouyate, Lanzini, Antonio, Arnie, Mario, Hernandez. If Nobes plays, then play Antonio instead of Cresswell.

Noble is the cause of the problems . Players playing out of position to accomodate a passenger or criticised for poor performances when they are run ragged trying to do their own job and cover for Noble’s lack of any positive contribution .

There he is again…Michael Jackson’s monkey with only one thing to moan about, Mark Noble. no matter what site you’re on there’s “bubbles” having another go at him. the captain must have dated his sister or nicked a pie off him or something. we all know what you think of him mate because you haven’t stopped for over a year now, so give it a rest or come up with something else to say (or moan about). bloody boring broken record! honestly, i hope he puts in one of his late tackles on you in the high street.

Blah blah we won’t wilt blah blah we owe the fans blah blah we can dig ourselves out of this blah blah we’ve got a great squad 😡 Less talking more bleeding good performances would be a start Captain Slow

Noble can’t win, if he comes out trying to be positive & motivate the players & fans he gets slaughtered by the usual bunch, if he doesn’t then it would be he doesn’t care, he’s the captain etc etc.
Imo he isn’t good enough for a starting place anymore, saying that earlier in the season when he came back in to the team he made a difference & was praised for leading the side on the pitch.
We need 100% passion & fight for these last few games, players who give everything & a fan base behind the team trying to lift them. Make the LS a cauldron & a imitating place to come for opposition teams from start to finish. Don’t let teams silence the stadium if we go down a goal or two. Leave the anti-board negativity until we are safe from relegation.

Bang on gw ….how many times have we herd this before……

It happens all the time ,, players giving loads before a game . Cresswell , Zaba and now Noble . Time to make the boots do the talking for a change . What a dreadful season . Every game is a Must Win game now . The Fans always turn up , the only problem is that the team doesn’t always attend the match . We all know and appreciate the injury list but that shouldn’t prevent those who are playing from putting in a shift . Must admit though that I don’t understand the constant chipping away at Noble by some people . We want our players to give it Thier all , and Noble is one of the few that does exactly that .

  • Clive says:

Nobes would be my first name on the team sheet. the team is better with him in it as a rule. Noble would be one of the few players we could rely on to want to stay if we did get relegated. For that reason he gets my loyalty in return. The foreign lads would probably all be off as soon as you could say dmitri payet.
