Update: Docs wait on Arthur’s report

|

Arthur Masuaku is yet to wait another fortnight before revealing how his knee is reacting to surgery.

There have been reports based on a comment from David Moyes that the left-sided midfielder could be out for as long as four months but that is very much a worst-case scenario.

Arthur of course created something of a storm when revealing his hospital visit on his personal Instagram after having gone under the knife a couple of weeks ago.

It was supposed to be a big secret at the time but now he has been told to report how he feels after resting up for a couple of weeks.

Surgeons decided that a washout was the best way forward at this stage after exploratory surgery was carried out and the player’s return will remain in his own hands and his return will be based on his feedback.

Should he feel fine he could be back in action a couple of weeks later although should he still be in pain he will face more surgery.
