Here is a great interview with Hammers keeper Lukasz Fabianski made by one of the biggest sport newspaprers in Poland (“Przeglad Sportowy”). It’s in polish but the Polish West Ham fan club say have managed to create English subtitles to enable us to understand it. Fabianski talks about his move to London with his family, his great performances in the Premier League, the support and trust he receives from West Ham supporters, his chance of winning Hammer of the year against Declan Rice and Felipe Anderson as well as his views on Brexit.
Fabianski gives a tour of the Rush Green training ground explaining the gym work, goal keeper training and the general training regime under Manuel Pellegrini.
The 20 minute is a big inside to the Polish International and what really goes on at Rush Green.
My thanks to Krzysztof Hamrol for sending me this video. He is member of a polish West Ham United Fanclub (www.whufc.pl)
That’s an excellent interview. Lukasz comes across as a decent and articulate chap.
This vid isn’t working, anyone got another link?
Thanks for sharing that as it was very enlightening indeed…he comes across as a very unassuming decent human being and a goalkeeper who is always looking to learn more about his trade.
Here is another YouTube clip I found along the way that also gives a good insight into the type of person our possible Hammer of the Year is…Enjoy!!
