Pablo Fornals served notice on Premier League defences after arriving as a sub for Spain under 21s against Belgium’s youngsters this afternoon.

The man in whom the management team are placing so much faith, and who was a priority target for several months, showed exactly what he’s all about towards the end of a fine game.

It was our first chance to take a look at the new Hammer and his match winning goal was an absolute pearler which created huge waves of excitement for the season ahead.

His beautiful strike gave the Spanish youngsters a fine 2-1 win in the Euro Championship as he made the perfect contribution their cause.

Some may have worried when he failed to getting a starting berth but his contribution and final goal of the game soon soothed any anxieties.

If this is what we can expect  there will be some happy faces around this evening.
