I still really like Slav as a person, but really not sure about his tactics, subs or as a club going forward or who would be better?!

Confidence? Will take a few rockets up jacksies I tell you!

I hate to say it, but there is no home advantage vs Palace and BFS will be right fired up 🙁

Trying to be positive, but can’t be! Let’s use that wjndow wisely and keep our gobs shut too on targets! Onwards! #coyi

I agree. The main problem for me has been the boards absolutely shocking delboy transfer tactics. You’d think theyd have learned but already this window theyve carried on… 6m defoe… 8m hogan..3M SNODGRASS?! We offered more than that for him when we were in the championship!!

Ive tried my best to back Slav and you can see the pain in his eyes he loves west ham, but you can also see he is way way out of his depth. Like someone said earlier there are people with much worse squads doing much much better than us which tells me he has lost the dressing room and his training tactics are not working.

Lets be fair we need a complete overhaul. Out of our squad you’d only keep Payet Lanzini Antonio Obiang and Randolph. Cresswell would be given a big warning same for Kouyate the rest are total pish.

This morning I’ve read a possible reason why Payet was brought on for Carroll, at the time I couldn’t understand it but Martin Samuel in todays Mail suggests that it could have to cup-tie him and make him less atractive to other Premier League teams.

I suppose it’s possible and is the only reason that makes any sense at all – still balmy though!

It is the same guy that set us up so well last season including a period without Payet where we just hard to beat. We have been poor this season and significantly in the last few games we have been poor even tough we have Carroll back.workrate is one issue but there are many others. For instance I thought cresswells positioning was shocking.
We don’t generally seem to create chances but we don’t seem to be able to defend either.
I think this season is now all about digging in preserving PL status and drawing up a plan for next season. Certainly being more solid and harder to beat will be a start and maybe needs to be a higher priority for this window. COYI
