Villa boss Remi on his guard for Irons vist

Remis-first-presserAston Villa boss Rémi Garde insists he won’t tell his team to go “gung ho ” against counter attacking experts West Ham.

Instead, he wants them to strike the right balance between being aggressive offensively as the home team and defensively-sound.He said: “We will need to be very balanced between attacking and defending.

“This is the problem when you play home games as we’ve seen in the previous weeks. Many teams have problems at home because there are teams that are very good at counter-attacking, like West Ham. That will be a danger for us.

“West Ham defend very well and are dangerous on the counter-attack. They have good, quick players.”

He added: “West Ham are very solid at the moment. They don’t concede any goals – they’re a tough team. They’re very efficient away from home and I think that they are a force. If you look at the tables only on away games it tells you how strong they can be.
