West Brom offer Hammers millions to keep hold of Diagana

|

A report in the Daily Telegraph claims that West Brom manager Slaven Bilic is ready to offer West Ham a £1.5 million loan fee in a bid to ensure Grady Diangana stays at West Brom for the season.

West Brom are also considering a further £3million offer to keep the winger on loan for next season, regardless of whether the club returns to the Premier League.

West Ham have the option to recall Grady Diangana in January but have accepted the player has a personal preference to stay with the Baggies for the remainder of the season.

With David Moyes not having a lot of luck finding players who will join West Ham within budget, West Brom fear Moyes could come under a lot of pressure to recall the young Hammer so they want to incentivise the manager with further money.

The manager has until January 27th to recall Diangana from his loan spell should he see fit to do so

To be fair this is more likely to be a G+S decision than DM.with the £ being bounced around. ..for me I would recall if Yarma goes out on loan as is being touted in various media out let’s. .but he has got to come back home in June for sure ..

There lies the major problem with west hams recruitment policy over the last couple of seasons? We have so many wide midfielder’s in Fornals Anderson Yarmolenco Lanzini and Antonio why would Diangana come and ” join the queue for a game?” Why do the chairpersons love a wide midfielder ? I.M.H.O when they owned Birmingham they had that in a French player Christophe Dugarry who was a great success as a signing and pleased the supporters in Birmingham! They the chairpersons to me, seem to want that and did in one season with again a wide player in Payet for west ham = a Bobby Dazzler? We now need a central midfielder (defensive or box to box) no frills someone like Song who done the donkey work to make Payet a success that he was in that season?? If the above mentioned players we have at the moment had someone like Song they would flourish in their roles as entertaining players we need a central midfielder to complement Rice and Noble, or in the end take over from Noble who should think about doing a coaching course for his future I.M.O (As a supporter this is my view as Nobes ain’t gonna last for ever) as Zabaleta in the same situation at right back that we need another one in that position too ? So no Diangana is not going to sort West Hams current problems out ? a decent midfielder a right back and a good back up striker Might!!!! Keep the faith C.O.Y.I

100% agree with that assessment Dusty. It’s true we need a CDM & or CM with pace & energy to take over/complement Nobles and a new RB hopefully someone long term & under the age of 77

Let the Baggies HAVE Diang for the rest of the season no charge……so long as they roll over in the FAC I’d say!!!!

Re Dusty comments; agree about CM but would love to see Dacoure drafted in from Watford
