West Ham 0 Arsenal 6 Player Ratings

West Ham 0 Arsenal 6

Areola:2 Incredible save from Trossard. Clumsily conceded a penalty by hacking down Saka. Constantly picking the ball from his net.

Saka scores against West Ham

West Ham 0 Arsenal 6 :Saka played a key role in the Hammers humiliation.

Coufal:4 Battled really well and managed to retain his intensity.

Zouma:3 Part of the awful defensive line which went to sleep for Arsenal’s third from Gabriel. Poor clearing header led to Arsenals 4th just before halftime.

Aguerd:2 Under constant pressure for the whole game as West Ham defended throughout the game. Caught going the wrong way as the ball was played over before the penalty. Got worse as the game went on.

Emerson:2 Given a hard time by Saka. By the time Arsenal had scored their 5th he’d lost all control.

Alvarez:3 Got his 8th yellow card of the season in the 9th minute. Should have done better for Arsenal’s opener. Terrible touch for Arsenals 4th.

Soucek:2 Blocked a goal-bound shot in the 27th min. Looks to be a complete passenger when the game is played at this pace.

Ward Prowse:4 I didn’t really notice him. Not sure whether that’s a good or a bad thing given the performance. Never gave up.

Johnson:4 Started the game on the left wing and looked to form a decent understanding with Emerson until the onslaught began. Moved to the right in the second half.

Kudus:4 Immediate impact as he won the ball from Kiwior to launch an attack but was too hesitant. Kudus was ‘Fornalsed’ for this game.

Bowen:3 Outmuscled. Nowhere near athletic enough to play up front on his own against Gabriel & Saliba in form. It’s ridiculous that we even bother trying to launch long balls towards him.

Substitutes

Phillips:5 On at half-time for Alvarez and produced some good long-range passing.

Mavropanos:5 Half time substitute for Zouma. At least he tried.

Cresswell: 75th min sub for Emerson.

Moyes: 0 How he failed to change anything following the first goal is beyond belief.

Hammers Chat my first game was West Ham 10-0 Bury . . . seriously!
We than went and bought Bury's central defender 😬⚒️ Irons

Started Hammers Chat alongside my partner in crime Geo back in 2014 and brough in to Claret & Hugh by my old mate Hughie to produce videos a couple of years later.

Give West Ham opinions on Sky Sports News and even did a bit of moonlighting on BBC Football Focus.

Sometimes feature on BBC Radio 5 Live and once ate a biscuit in Tony Gales shed.

Connoisseur of salted caramel doughnuts and I love a Sloppy Giuseppe pizza although I'm slightly suspicious where the name came from.

When I'm not moaning about West Ham I can be found walking a dog that looks like a sheep and tinkering with pinball machines.

More West Ham moaning is done on a daily basis here 👇👇

Anyone else feel that this has been coming? We seem to have been setting ourselves up as sitting ducks, sooner or later due a thrashing. I wonder what we actually practise in training? We were actually showing attackers onto their preferred foot today, and closing down nobody. Free headers on set pieces, one straight over the top ball bypassing everyone. Cannot remember seeing such a shambles of a team at home. We will drop like a brick down the table like this.

Completely agree with your rating, I only just about lasted a bit longer watching at home than the supporters at the stadium did as I turned off at half time. The walkout tells the owners everything they need to know about how we the fans feel about Moyes and the way we are playing, no need for violent or intimidating protests. Hopefully owners get the message sooner rather than later. COYI ⚒️⚒️
