West Ham 2020 fixtures re-scheduled

Two West Ham United Premier League fixtures in February 2020 have been rescheduled the club have announced.

The Hammers will now travel to Manchester City on Sunday 9 February at 4.30pm, meaning the Club’s winter break will now take place on the weekend of 15/16 February.

In addition, the away fixture at Liverpool will now be played on Monday 24 February at 8pm.

Both of the aforementioned matches will be broadcast live in the UK by Sky Sports.

The Club also hopes to make an announcement about the rearranged home fixture with Liverpool, originally scheduled for Saturday 21 December but postponed due to the Reds’ involvement in the FIFA Club World Cup, in the near future.

Other fixture changes already announced include the Leicester City’s visit to the London Stadium on Saturday 28 December moved to a 5.30 pm kick-off.

AFC Bournemouth’s visit to the London Stadium on New Year’s Day, Wednesday 1 January 2020, will also kick-off at 5.30pm.

Friday night football is back on 10th January 2020, when the Irons travel to Yorkshire to face Sheffield United, with kick-off at Bramall Lane at 8pm.

And the away fixture with Leicester will now be played at the King Power Stadium at 7.30pm on Wednesday 22nd January 2020.

    Is it just me being cynical but why are all our games that are a long distance away the ones that are changed and late kick offs. Sunday PM in Manchester, Monday PM in Liverpool. Friday night in Sheffield. It’s almost like our amazing away support is being punished.
