West Ham have irons in the wire as they seek to make signings this transfer window

West Ham have as many as twenty Irons in the summer transfer fire.

A club insider confirmed that the Hammers were enquiring over the availability of up to twenty names as they process a lengthy target list.

The search for some new additions continues and does not require the completion of the Declan Rice deal to put offers in.

New West Ham Technical director Tim Steidten is getting up to speed and discussing transfer options with other stakeholders.

West Ham will received their first instalment of £33.3m by the weekend, but that money won’t be needed until a player is ready to sign for West Ham and as it stands, nothing in imminently close to competing.

West Ham’s board want to be sure the Rice money will be spent wisely to give maximum return on investment so do know what to rush transfers for the sake of it or to appease supporters inpatient for summer signings.
