West Ham horse CotteeMcAvenniGoal is back in action at the races on Sunday in Ireland hoping to win.
The horse has been trained in Ireland by Shane Crawley after initially starting with Kim Bailey.
West Ham supporting owner Simon Keane approached his two favourite Hammers, Macca and Tony Cottee with the help of Claret and Hugh in 2019 who immediately gave him permission to use their names and were delighted to have been asked.
The six-year-old horse runs at Navan this Sunday at Navan in the 2.55 pm race.
CotteeMcAvenniGoal has had five runs failing to be placed at Huntingdon or Leopardstown twice but won at Navan on his fourth race in March this year with one second-place finish in his last time out at Limerick in April.
West Ham fan owner Simon told Claret and Hugh “He won at Navan last time but will know more about his chance chance when they declare. We will see”
