West Ham insiders signal Moyes exit

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

Make no mistake, David Moyes is closer to the old ‘tin tack’ this morning than he been in a long while as Hammers insiders reveal exclusively to Claret and Hugh they are becoming increasingly fed up.

He is no longer fooling our insiders with his regular excuses for failure after a shocking defeat against Everton and none of the reasons he came up with that were anywhere near acceptable.

Moyes exit closer

We were regularly found out last season by a system of play which was familiar to every manager in the league and after the very early season successes against Chelsea, Brighton and Lutonit has been downhill virtually all the way, briefly halted by the Sheffield United win.

And this morning a major source at the club told Claret and Hugh: “People can now see why we are waiting on offering him a new deal. That was so very poor against Everton. Why field the reserves in Greece if we play like that.”

That the word “reserves” confirms what we wrote last week that we do not have a squad – just two teams, a first and reserve outfit.

Another defeat against Arsenal on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup and an away defeat at Brentford could easily see Moyes finally facing the exit door although clearly a replacement will need to be found first!
