West Ham is reported to be interested in Liverpool flop Suso in a £36million deal this January reports the Sun.
The 25-year-old AC Milan attacking midfielder is thought to have a release fee clause of £36m.
The Spaniard has managed just one assist in eight Serie A outings this term and was widely criticised for his performance against Lecce last Sunday.
He joined Liverpool’s youth setup from Cadiz for a £54,000 fee in 2010 later sold to AC Milan for just over £1m after making 14 Premier League appearances for the reds between 2012 and 2015.
He scored eight times and made eight assists in the 2018-19 season with reports in Italy suggesting the player himself now wants a move.
Suso has earned five caps for Spain, most recently playing in the 4-0 win over Faroe Islands in September.
Claret and Hugh say: It is highly unlikely that Manuel Pellegrini would prioritise yet another attacking midfielder this January and certainly not one with a £36m release clause.
