West Ham mocks Man City’s fake news

|

West Ham have mocked Manchester City on twitter for suggesting they had taken their official team bus for a tour of London today.

The Manchester City official account posted  a photo on twitter  to their 4 million followers showing a bright day with white clouds in Westminster with Big Ben pointing at 3pm!  City said: “Taking the new wheels out for a spin before tonight’s game

West Ham responded “Hmmm, either East London has a different weather climate & timezone (see Big Ben), or that picture wasn’t taken today… “

Man City’s social media team had the last laugh posting a photo of the bus turning up at the Boleyn Ground  clearly photo shopped fake photo saying: “What are you on about? We’ve just pulled up outside, lads…”

Most of our players appeared to be day trippin, we played the same way we have played against them with the same results, it drives me mad and for me shows me Slav’s limitations as a manager. He set us up to lose by a small margin it was Allardycian in its approach, there is a proven way to beat City, you get in their face from the first minute and you compete, each time we have played them this season we have not, we played like we have played in most of the games we have lost this season, passively, in the recent games where we have played well we have been closing teams down, we allowed them space and time and Jesus crucified us along with his 10 apostles, Judas was back in Marseille. I am not going to read into this result because City have a team built at 20 or more times the cost of ours, they have pace all over the field where we have none, it is a wake up to the board, if you want to break into the top 4 you have to have at least one player who can rise above the opposition levels we have just lost ours and tonight the others didn’t lift themselves. If there is a slim straw to grasp I would say Fonte looked very communicative at the back and I am hopeful the defence will improve in the future, lesson to Slav never think our team is good enough to sit off and absorb pressure it is not, Noble for all his qualities is on his way out, he needs replacing in the summer. It was a thoroughly miserable performance, you better turn it around for the next game, Mancini was in the crowd I suspect Slav wont be in charge next season if we see more than one or two more of those performances.

The way City were moving around our big wide pitch in and amongst our players I thought I was seeing time travel with my own eyes.

City were unbelievable, they love our big open pitch.

fair play to city – arriving at upton park through a time-warp – early for the game. let’s hope their heads are a couple of miles away tonight! their evil neighbours would still be thinking of starting the engine to be sure of catching rush hour and a hatful of excuses for being late.
