Just one question over Irons line-up for City

|

obiang1The Hammers team appears to pick itself for tonight’s match against Manchester City with Slav likely to name the same team as beat Middlesbrough at the Riverside 3-1 apart from Jose Fonte at central defence.

Angelo Ogbonna has undergone successful surgery but is of course out for the rest of the season and the former Southampton Portuguese star looks a banker to line up alongside Winston Reid.

The only question is whether Sofiane Feghouli will start although it’s odds on he will as managers don’t like to change winning teams for its own sake but Robert Snodgrass is likely to appear later in proceedings.

Sam Byram will remain on the right side of the back four and Aaron Creswell at left wing back.

With Cheik Kouyate still recovering from his African Nations Cup exertions he will be left out of the squad but is likely to be ready for the clash against Southampton.

That will mean that Mark Noble and Pedro Obiang will almost certainly fill the midfield slots with Michail Antoino, Manu Lanzini and Andy Carroll giving the team its serious attacking edge.
