West Ham snubbed with midfield loan request

|

FranceNew reports suggest West Ham have been snubbed after a loan enquiry was made to Sevilla for midfield colossus Steven N’Zonzi. New Sevilla manager Vincenzo Montella has now said he would like to keep N’Zonzi at Sevilla.

“N’Zonzi is a great player for me, so one of my goals is to talk to him and see what his ambition is,” Montella told reporters. “For me he is a very important player of Sevilla.”

Club president Jose Castro insisted that N’Zonzi’s exile had been purely a technical decision by the former manager and no formal offers have been received for the 6ft 5 player. “N’Zonzi is just another player in the squad,” Castro added. “He is not playing because of a technical decision, and now he can play again by technical decision. The club is clear that it wants to have good players to achieve the sporting objectives. The player had friction with the previous coach, but Montella will speak with N’Zonzi “

N’Zonzi arrived at Gatwick airport last week amid speculation that he was about to join West Ham, Everton or Arsenal. It now appears he was in fact in London to visit his son rather than any meetings with Premier League sides.

If true I think we are all getting bored of the board trying to do things on the cheap, a bit like when Zlatan said to Wenger after he asked him to do a training session, Zlatan doesn’t do auditions, neither do most established players with proven ability need a loan spell to establish their credentials. DS seems not to understand the market place anymore, sadly it has changed and good players cost in excess of £40 million now, world class over £100m, it’s a sellers market something he also failed to realise when he sold a load of players for less than he paid for them or nominal fees.

If there is any danger of Lanzini leaving us, and the way we’ve played this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if he might be interested in moving to a more high profile side with Europe in their sights – we must hang fire in January to make sure we buy a playmaker.

Here we Fekkin go again – Loan him and loan him! Bloody Walthamstow Market with the dildos.
And as for Lanz, what would you want to do if Liverpool came knocking? And they will because the Dick Van Dyke money can only be coming from them having to move on you know who!
Once again we look forward to a transfer window only to be smacked in the chops by a dose of realism. Whatever happened to “like my dreams”? Oh yeah, they ……………………

It’ll be interesting to see how much of the Lanzini money (assuming he goes) gets re-invested in the squad, or goes straight into the deluded Cossack’s pocket?!?

What was said a few weeks ago ? 15 th richest club in the WORLD ? And still the big 3 chairpersons are cheapskateing for Loans ? I’m sure this club is run on it’s wealth based on credit cards and not on real cash or money ? It’s as I said in a previous post LOANS is what we seem to only go for, because they’ve only put there money to loans to west ham ???

What’s the big deal here? The word that best describes the S&G business model is loan isn’t it? Now we even ‘loan’ the venue we play in. So why not have a ‘loan player’ business model?

Disgracefully, there’s no evidence of a strategic business vision at our Club leading to a coherent plan for developing a quality playing squad. Transfer policy is loosely driven by the whimsy of the coaching ‘supremo’ of the moment backed by a business leadership style that smacks of control freakery, short term’ism and as stated above, by owners out of touch with what is now a globalised transfer market. BREXIT thinking is no use to us here. The PL transfer market is determined by global capitalist wealth, just look at PL club ownership. Mind you if we go BREXIT we could invite all the ‘foreign muck’ – as some racist bloggers refer to international players – to leave and we’ll be able to recreate a local marłet for all that English home grown talent and send the double D’s out to squabble to trade….good luck with that.
