West Ham starting XI: The people’s choice

With 355 Claret and Hugh readers voting in the people’s choice starting XI the results are now in for today’s New Year Day’s game against Everton.

Fabianski is in goal with an impressive 349 votes.

The backline consists of Aaron Cresswell 333 votes, Angelo Ogbonna 341 votes, Fabian Balbuena 295  votes, Vladimir Coufal 383 votes

Arthur Masuaku remains out injured.

Ben Johnson 120 votes, Issa Diop 49 votes,  Ryan Fredericks 19 votes and  Craig Dawson 54 votes all fail to make the grade

Declan Rice gets an impressive near-maximum 352 votes and looks odds-on to captain to Hammers but  Tomas Soucek gets 350 votes.

In midfield is Said Benrahma 256 votes, Manuel Lanizi 199 votes, Pablo Fornals 146 and Jarrod Bowen with 284 votes

Yarmolenko 137 votes Haller 90  votes,  Robert Snodgrass 28 votes, Pablo Fornals 146 votes, Michail Antonio 69 votes and Mark Noble 1 vote all fail to make the cut.

    I know that Coufal has really impressed since he signed but 383 votes out of 355? Nailed on to score the winner for us with stats like that 😉
