West Ham transfer rumours rated

|

Lucas Perez  9/10 Arsenal’s striker purchased for £17.5m but now available for £5m. Sounds like just the kind of backup striker  Pellegrini is looking for. His agent has confirmed interest and West Ham bid.

Carlos Sanchez 9/10 Fiorentina’s holding midfielder could soon become a Hammer. The 32-year-old former Aston Villa midfielder looks destined to move to West Ham and return to the Premier League.

Moussa Marega 3/10 Obviously some interest but we can’t afford him. FC Porto president Pinto da Costa says West Ham have made no official bid despite a visit from David Sullivan Junior and agent Will Salthouse. They want around £36m for him which we don’t have!

Antonio Sanabria  6/10 Real Betis forward has scored eight times in 17 league games last season. The 22-year-old came through Barcelona academy and joined Roma for £7.5 million. Available for as little as £15m. Won’t sign if Perez signs.

Moanes Dabour 6/10 The 26-year-old striker has been heavily linked with Sevilla and Crystal Palace. Palace have bid 10 million pounds for him but it was rejected.  Salzburg are asking for about 20 million euros (£17.8m) Again if Perez signs this one is gone too.

Bernard 4/10 The free agent wanted £200,000 per week in wages plus a £15m signing on/agent fee in June. Interest has re-emerged with reduced wage demands of £11o,000 per week with the manager thinking about it and deciding if he can play the backup striker role. Won’t sign if Perez signs

Ignacio Camacho 6/10 West Ham contacted Wolfsburg regarding a possible £9m deal for Ignacio Camacho

Andre Gomes 4/10 The Hammers have long been linked Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes who could be available for £20m. Money we haven’t got at present so unlikely.

Thiago Maia 3/10 More of a Newcastle who is valued at £17.8million. Linked to West Ham recently but no substance to claims.

Joao Felix  3/10 Benfica’s young 18-year-old superstar has got a massive release clause of 60m Euros so out of our budget.

Yacine Brahimi 3/10  West Ham pursuit of Porto winger Yacine Brahimi is another target that appears to out of reach financially.

Harold Mokoudi 3/10 Not sure we need another centre back even if he is £10m. We were claimed to be close and now not!

Stefano Sturaro 5/10 A loan for Sturaro from Juventus is possible but Pellegrini is said not to be fan of loans so unlikely.

DM reporting that Bernard is signing for the Toffees ( subject to work permit).
Real shame we didn’t get him, think Everton have got a real playmaker if it goes through.

Why is it a shame re Bernard, he likes to play on the wing, we have just bought two new wingers who look good to me and Antonio too, even Arnie if MP decides to move him out wide again, we do not need Bernard!

Difference is Bernard genuinely prefers left side JMan MP has been playing Anderson there but his best performances seem to be from right side, Bernard is also comfortable playing number 10 which if Wilshere gets injured will help us, he scores a lot more goals than Anderson or Yarmo and has more assists. If Everton are willing to pay him 200k a week then not much we can do there if the chairmen aren’t willing to pay it or an acceptable figure, its not the end of the world anyway as we do have Anderson / Antonio / Masuaka + Arnie who can play that position.

I have been thinking lately that our spending this summer is much like Everton’s last summer. They bought loads of players without getting one in the position that they really needed (striker). We have bought loads of players without getting one in teh position that we really need (CDM). Let us hope that our season does not go the way that their’s went and that Anderson / Yarmalenko are not this season’s Davey Klaasen
