West Ham yet to hear from London Mayor

|

mayorLondon Mayor Sadiq Kahn has yet to set a date to meet West Ham over London Stadium finances. Four weeks ago the Mayor released a press statement stating that “Sadiq will now take over full control of the stadium and is already taking steps to move it towards a more secure and stable financial footing.  Sadiq will seek to work with West Ham, UK Athletics and other stadium partners to address the flaws in existing arrangements to the benefit of the taxpayer and all connected with the stadium.”

Claret and Hugh understand that West Ham have yet to hear from the Mayor’s office one month on but no meeting date has yet been set between the Mayor and a member of the Hammers board.

Claret and Hugh contacted the Mayor’s press office for a comment only today to receive an automated reply saying no-one in the Press office was available until the new year amusingly hashtagged London is open.

Sadiq Khan talks a lot and delivers nothing, even less than Bojo and I thought that was impossible the best Mayor we had was Ken Livingstone he actually got a lot done shame he was not a very nice character if he could have kept his mouth shut he would probably still be mayor today, still at West Ham we are used to that kind of person being in charge.
