West Ham’s potential quarter-final opponents

|

West Ham are into the draw for the quarter-final of the Europa League on Friday.

The draw is set to be held just after midday on Friday and the semi-final draw will also be made, meaning the Hammers will know their path to the final in Spain by the end of the day.

Of course, to get here the Hammers beat Sevilla in extra time on Thursday night and will now be hoping for a genuine glamour tie against one of the biggest sides still in the competition.

The Irons’ potential opponents are as follows: RB Leipzig, Rangers, Barcelona, Braga, Atalanta, Lyon, Eintracht Frankfurt.

The biggest name there, of course, is Barcelona, with the Spanish club overcoming Turkish side Galatasaray to reach the quarter-finals, while there is also the potentially intriguing Battle of Britain against Rangers, who have beaten both Borussia Dortmund and Red Star Belgrade to reach this point.

We will know soon enough.
