Video: Declan shows his true Hammers passion

|

Watch carefully for the images of Declan in this video after the greatest night I can personally remember since the mid sixties.

Yes that’s when we won the FA Cup and Cup Winners Cup with a captain who rose through the ranks of the academy to become the greatest of all time.

His name was Mooro and until now there has been nobody like him at West Ham from the academy since.

He stayed for the very best of his career and as I look at these pictures of Dec I start to believe he might just do the same.

His love for this club is so utterly clear – his passion, joy and excitement are as great as any you will ever see.

And his words afterwards about his love of our fans and this being the greatest night of his life were just what we all wanted to hear.

We have been saying for a long time that if we can win this trophy and find ourselves in the Champions League he will have no reason to want to leave for anywhere.

These pictures show that in spades – he’s a Hammer…he will always be a Hammer in his heart regardless  and we as a club could well be on our way to a place where he will be here for as long as the greats this club has produced.

You love us Dec?

WE LOVE YOU!
