Zouma names his best ever Hammers game

|

New Hammers skipper Kurt Zouma has had more than his and downs since arriving at the club including tip top performances and some big lows with injury and off pitch issues.

But he is a very happy Hammer and has been discussing his life at the club with www.whufc.com where he explains the game which he thinks was his best ever for the club.

He had absolutely no hesitation with it springing straight out of his mouth. He had recently arrived when Liverpool came to town and that’s the one he remembers above all others.

He said: “That game against Liverpool, at London Stadium, the season I arrived, was incredible. I scored in that game but, not just getting the goal, I think I played an excellent game.

“Actually, I think everyone in our team was ten out of ten in that match. That was definitely my best performance for West Ham so far.”

That special night under the lights came just three months after Zouma had made the switch across London, joining the Hammers from Chelsea.

There have been many fine displays since from the big fella and there can be no doubt whatsoever there are many more to be witness over this season.

Never forgotten this game – I went absolutely bananas when Zouma’s goal went in. Three days afterwards I was in hospital with atrial fibrillation.

    Worth it though 😉

I actually own Zouma’s shirt from this game! It was such an incredible and unforgettable match, I had to have something from it. Was lucky enough to get this game worn shirt. Always makes me think of Zouma’s goal!
