Bilic “no” to quick PL return

|

Slaven-Bilic (1)Slaven Bilic has rejected the opportunity of replacing Tony Pulis at West Brom according to Sky sources.

However, they report that the Croatian was disinterested in making a quick return to management after being fired by West Ham earlier this month.

Bilic was one of a trio of former Hammers bosses who interested the Baggies board but Slav made it clear it was too early to consider a return.

Alan Pardew remains the favourite to replace Pulis at The Hawthorns having gained the support of Albion’s technical director Nick Hammond, who worked alongside him at Reading, although West Brom chairman John Williams will make the final recommendation to club owner Guochuan Lai.

Sky also claim that Williams remains a very big admirer of former Hammers manager Sam Allardyce, who was Blackburn manager for two years when Williams was chairman at Ewood Park.

However, it has been reported that Allardyce wants £8 million a year to make a return to club management having turned the Irons down when they were looking for a Bilic replacement.

Shame, West Brom could of taken our position in the bottom 3 if he took it. Why do these failures keep getting job offers????

Bilic might be holding out for the Everton job if they get desperate enough.

Where does Alladici think he is worth 8. Million a year or is it a ploy, because he has been given so many pay offs recently any money he will earn will be paid In Tax, so he is not really interested in any job. I remember him saying before the England job his wife wanted him to retire so perhaps it is his way of looking 8nterested but not not really up for it.
