Good news on Kouyate

|

KayHopes are rising inside the Hammers camp that the injury to Cheikhou Kouyate is not as bad as first feared.

The £7 million midfielder was at the receiving end of a bad tackle in the clash against Wellington Phoenix at Eden Park yesterday and left the ground on crutches.

Sam Allardyce indicated immediately afterwards the player could be out for a long time.

But this morning ClaretandHugh has learned that the player is now moving around very well after a scan and that hopefully therefore, things may not be as bad as at first feared.
