West Ham have been hit by the worst possible injury crisis as it emerged this morning that we have suffered a TRIPLE injury blow.
Pedro Obiang is ruled out for the rest of the season and Michail Antonio and Winston Reid are set to miss the next month.
Obiang was stretchered off against Leicester City before Antonio joined Reid in the treatment room. The versatile Antonio felt his hamstring towards the end of the game and results have now shown the severity of the problem.
Reid is also set to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a hip problem.
The New Zealand international is expected to be ruled out between four to six weeks and Jack Sullivan , son of co-Chairman David Sullivan, tweeted: ‘Obiang is out for the rest of the season
‘Antonio 3-4 weeks Hamstring, but as he’s a superb athlete we hope it might be sooner.
‘Reid scan later this week, but at least 4-6 weeks and might be longer
This would have been the right moment to test the youngsters who are out on loan… some of them not even playing…
Situation is not desperate, but it will be if we get any other injuries. Ginger for Reid, Fernandes for Obiang, Fegh (or Ayew) for Antonio. Not quite the same, but position wise manageable. I hope Bilic doesn’t start playing Kouyate at centre back and put Nobes as holding mid. Not yet. Please….

I know some of you that watched the match mentioned that Obiang looked overrun at times in midfield alongside Kouyate, if that was the case was it similar to the way Nordveidt looked in pre-season alongside him where Kouyate was bombing forward but leaving his defenders exposed and Nordveidt covering too much ground ? Not saying Kouyate is the problem but maybe there should be 3 in midfield where we look to shore things up defensively e.g. Nordveit, Kouyate and Lanzini (instead of Lanzini in the number 10 position) ?
Obiang and kouyate were only in the middle together for 20 mins but it is true to say he was over run and that’s because Noble wasnt behind him and for the first time we played with one cdm instead of two after Reids injury. Considering that we did ok on the second half.

Yet more excuses for Bilics Continuation . We haven’t been performing well all season . No reason to expect anything different now . We still have the players but , with the 3 4 2 1 formation a dog fight till the end is on the cards now more than ever . Relegation seems a distant nightmare but , could still happen whilst the teams below us continue to get points and we don’t . Call me doomy & gloomy if you want but , reality is reality .
Leicester played 4 4 2 against us and we know what happened .
Just hope above hope that we can get 4 or maybe 6 points more out of the next five or six games . We are looking over our shoulders , a situation nobody really expected .

Cas i think it is dependent on the loan agreements though i am no expert that is a given.
The loan chaps are hardly pulling up trees elsewhere however,not even rated good enough for Championship and League One time in some instances.
But i will remain confident of a reasonable finish to the season.If i ever end up as gloomy as Kevin who is of similiar age to me please folks feel free to call in the vets and give me the lethal shot of something lol
