Hammers set to offer starman a new deal

|

michail-antonio-west-ham-stoke_3387473West Ham are preparing to offer Michail Antonio a new deal after his amazing rise from the fringes of Hammers  selection last November  to the England team just over a year later!

The wideman has been an astonishing signing for £7 million and it comes as no surprise to hear that the club want to improve his deal and extend it.

He only signed a new deal in July but the club are ready to improve it again accepting his enormous value.

Just as was the case with Aaron Cresswell the club want to add another three years to Antonio’s contract and will probably stick by the regular timetable of gettng the deal done by January.

Once again Michail has been the stand-out performer for the club this season with five goals from seven Premier League performances and is today hoping for his first international start against Malta.

Co-chairman David Gold yesterday made a big play of his admiration for the player in his From the Boardroom article on the official site and news of a likely new contract offer may not be seen entirely as a coincidence.
