‘We can never go back, we must look forward together’

|

bradyKarren Brady has used her Sun newspaper football diary to re-enforce that she believes in West Ham’s move to London Stadium and says the noise will disappear once when the Hammers start winning home games. He points out we can never go back so we have to look forward together.

Early feedback from our poll suggests fans believe it will take some time to feel like our new home with 19% saying it will never feel like home and 32% saying it will feel like home within the next 12 months. You can still take part in our poll here

This is what Baroness Brady said in her weekly diary column today:
“I BELIEVE absolutely in our move to the London Stadium.

And nothing, certainly not the Twitter nonsense I have received before and after the talk I gave yesterday about the move, will change our direction.

It’s become a bit of a bandwagon which will disappear to the fading sounds of grumbling wheels once we start winning home games.

Slaven Bilic certainly understands this.

Don’t get me wrong, we have great faith in our manager and we sense no problems among the players.

They all desperately want to do well and they will.

And, by the way, we can never go back, so we have to look forward together.”

Karen what have you done? You’ve caused another day of moaning, widespread panicking and reminiscing about the good old days now πŸ™‚

  • Stevo says:

Im going to go to the meeting today if time permits.I want to see how it is all going to work.
I would much prefer to go to something like that to air genuine grievances than just whine on a blog..

    • Stevo Can you report back to us so we can write up a report later on C&H. You can email me at mrwesthamfootball@gmail.com Many thanks

      • Stevo says:

I can do that Sean not a problem. Its all down to time i have available today. It happened rather quickly so i need to see if i can slot it in.If i do of course i will email you about it.
I think it is a great initiative & surely it is better than the constant sniping on sites.Well to my mind it is anyway, others might see it differently who enjoy moaning across the air waves Haha

  • Haha actually it is interesting that the poll says 19% of supporters think the London Stadium will never be our home. This is something the club needs to address

  • mattefumi27 says:

#loveconquersallweareonebighappyclaretandbluefamily … lol anyway, you’re right GW, the international break is destructive… I will focus on my garden, my figa and NFL, at least there’s a ball… lol πŸ˜‰

  • jimbo says:

I’d happily swap with any of ya! I have no more excuses left and so am being dragged to some bloody Bridget Jones film by the Mrs. Wonder what the stewarding is like at the pictures now (yep, it’s been that long) or if it will turn nasty if the performance isn’t that good? And I’m dreading the crowd walk back to the station.

    • GW says:

Yeah that’s worse mate but after hearing about seating issues for the last 4 months DFS is the last place I wanted to go to πŸ™‚ Then again if I can’t get one could always blame Brady lol

Sorry lads, I don’t like to do this but I beat you all. So my day has been night feeds with a 4 day old and a general continuance of running round like a headless chicken chasing my 4yr old and being my Mrs ***** so she doesn’t turn into the Shehulk. Then swimming with the 4yr old which will be full of other people’s annoying kids. But I like all the above so it’s all good. Where I’m really struggling is having to get my football fix by watching this team of well known Amatuers at 5pm but in fairness Malta are a good side. Apparently their playing some clown outfit tho and this is what worries me. I’m sure I’ve come across this clown outfit before, you get quite excited about them only to be let down. Apparently the watching of them is due to banned as it breaches the Human Rights Act under torture rules! Trust me lads, if there is any chance you be around at 5pm then make plans, go to DFS, go baby shopping with the Mrs because if you don’t then you’ll end up with PTSD

  • telboy1975 says:

Sean – it’s ‘reinforce’: strengthen or support (an object or substance), especially with additional material. How many more times?

  • jimbo says:

Boys – I am proud to report that I survived Bridget Jones, but at some cost and no figa for me! I’m told I fell asleep twice, the second time soaring loudly, and that I embarrassed the Mrs so much that we will not be going again. RESULT!

  • RickHammer says:

A cunning plan that worked jimbo, its always good to see a man get the better of the wife lol
Or think we did anyway, time will tell.I think you might pay heavily in the long run lol

  • jimbo says:

Me thinks I will pay now, in the short, medium and long term Rick. Not just her figa that resembles an elephant, her memory matches!
