Twitter reports that a well known West Ham United footballer had been involved in an incident which involved a police presence at around 1 am this morning have drawn a response from Essex Police.
Pictures of the player (shown above) emerged on Twitter soon afterwards but police later made it clear that no arrests had been made or charges laid.
A statement from Essex police given exclusively to ClaretandHugh read: “Police were called to High Road, in Loughton, shortly before 1am on Sunday July 26 following reports that a man and a woman had been involved in a verbal dispute.
Officers attended and spoke to both parties. No complaints were made and no further police action is being taken.”
A Hammers insider told us: “The player was out in company and started receiving a lot of abuse from a passers-by. The police were called and checked that he was okay.
“They then decided the best course of action on his behalf as to drive him home – there is no problem.”
Looks more like that tw*t Russell Brand 😉
When did we sign him ???
Yes Andy .. what a pro 😀
I was just going home to bed officer …..
Mind you AC & Brand are both tw*ts so they could be twins 😉
Think it is clear who it could be! yes similar to Brand, nothing between both ears, but they still make a lot of money being that way.
Im sure he was just out for a gentle jog, stepping up his training, lol, muppet 😉
The ‘Old Bill’ was just getting his autograph and an update on the injury situation…nothing more !!!!
Who was it? no idea officer.
Where,s his crutches did not recognise him standing without assistance,
He’s an absolute ********, 18 million not played a game in months, injury prone when we bought him, failed at the bin lids but the hippo wanted him over bony, 8 million in wages minimal goals, minimal games yet people defend him… A professional athlete would get himself fit, rest at home thinking those who pay him deserve a little bit back… Total waste of money, overrated and overpaid and stuck in a 5 year contract thanks Hippo you tactical genius
However, much of the ground were singing ‘Andy Carroll, we want you to stay’ at the end of his loan period. He stayed. Your comments indicate that those fans were wrong.
Old git I was one of those in the minority that wasn’t proclaiming his name from the rooftops, granted the ground was calling his name and I ain’t questioning them at all, I’d just heard about a bloke that was banging goals in in Holland at half the price
Well those fans have been proved wrong,me included,as i wanted him to stay. But my own judgement was way off with Carroll because his signing has been a bloody nightmare & any sane minded supporter would have the balls to admit it has been, lol
It seems that everyone assumes its Carroll? Or have I missed something.
