Report: Hammers eye Napoli star

|

Could Dries Mertens be swayed with a move to the Premier League?

West Ham are this morning (Sun) reported to be plotting an ambitious move for Napoli winger Dries Mertens.

The Belgian has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea but acording to The Sun he is now very much a Slaven Bilic target..

Napoli are desperate to keep Mertens  — yet he could be tempted by a £20million summer switch to the Premier League.

The player is out of contract at the end of next season which will encourage the Italians tolisten to offer if there is  real danger he wants away.

This is not a new rumour I think they have already knocked back a bid of £30m and his wife said she doesn’t want to leave Italy, would be a great signing though if we pulled it off.
