Transfer Window: Fans Verdict

We’re back with our first ‘Your Shout’ of the silly season where rumours are rife and our beloved Hammers continue to get linked with anyone capable of lacing some expensive football boots.

For the uninitiated amongst you ‘Your Shout’ is the show where we ask West Ham fans to send in clips of themselves talking about all the latest news & gossip surrounding the Irons. This week there is much to discuss and on this episode Gary, Paul and Chaz put recent results and potential transfer targets under the microscope.

Chaz takes no prisoners in his appraisal of some targets and discusses Daniel Sturridge, Jonjo Shelvey as well as bemoaning the lost opportunity to sign Jack Wilshere six months ago.

Cheik Kouyate comes in for a bit of criticism from more than one contributor and Gary is more than a little concerned about the form of crowd favourite Michail Antonio. He also takes a look at David Moyes’s tactics and deployment of players as well as discussing our run of ‘winnable’ fixtures over the next few weeks.

Overseas fan Paul had set his sights on the recruitment of Andre Shurrle and is quite disappointing to see the interest fail to yield and offer. He also goes on to discuss the link to Belgian international  Leander Dendonker although it has to be said he is not confident about our chanced of making January signings.

If you’d like to contribute to the next video please just record a clip onto your mobile phone, send it to info@hammerschat.com and we’ll do the rest.

  1. Trott is actually highly rated & good GK but we also have Joseph Asong Ghanian 19yo still waiting on permit but can always get a decent GK on loan.
I would happily hive Hart for Shelvey but I don’t think Rafa wants him & especially w his wages.

And agreed about Lewin seems things have got worse. And someone on talksport mentioned Wilshere as been fit now for longest time except broken leg & now ankle game related tackles but before it was everything & Welbeck too when Lewin was their head Physio.
    So who knows.

Yes we need added crearivty bad Moyes even immediate today when talking about Chic that we need better service. But we are looking at CBs btwn £15-25m while have Ox Rice & a lot of CBa not to mention Kouyate who is best as CB.
RB would go Opare bc can play LB too great defender & very fast.
Like to see Dendockner & a Creative mid like who can get play fwd & help out Lanzini like Hamza Barry £5m two footed fast on break. Mohamed Elynoussoui Basel 16 assist 24 apps. Love Frankie De Jong at 20yo 9 assist as CM can get fwd w pace 95% pass rate & cover CB w 2 assists in 5 apps.

I’d offer Cheik & £15m for Dendockner who is expeimced has over 100apps at 22 & full blown Belgium Intl. If not pay the £25m & Moyes say I need more money need one more player in creative mid.

Let’s go young & hungry w resale value.
No Sturridge injury prone want £30m & high wages.
Rather have Ings Smolov or I liked Mark Uth from Hoffenheim only has 6mo left & is 26yo 9 goals 6’1 well rounded CF w pace & great on the break. Could get for cheap bc Contract

Agree don’t need a CB have Rice Ox & hopefully Burke Ginge who is always good when fit deserves a testimonal & Contract as player/Coach bc love him coaching our boys & low wages but intellegnt defender.

Midfield is a priority & a creative type to me
