West Ham’s Best moments of 2016

|

reidAs 2016 draws to an end we recap on the best moments of the year.

2nd January 2016. West Ham do the double over Liverpool for the first time in 53 years with two headed goals from Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio to seal a two nil win at home.

9th February 2016. West Ham complete a treble over Liverpool by knocking them out of the FA Cup fourth round in extra time.  Angelo Ogbonna scored a last-minute extra-time winner for West Ham as they beat Liverpool 2-1 to make it through to the fifth round of the FA Cup. Antonio had earlier put the Hammers in the lead just before half time with one of his trade mark headed goals.

2nd March 2016. West Ham beat Spurs 1-0 at the Boleyn Ground to effectively ruin their Premier league title hopes last season. Again, an Antonio trade mark header in the seventh minute made all the difference and it was all down hill from there for Spurs much to Hammers fans delight.

10th May 2016 A fitting last game at the Boleyn Ground as West ham beat Manchester United 3-2 in a emotional rain swept night in May. Sakho scored in the 10th minute but with West Ham 2-1 down on 72nd minute Antonio responded to draw it level on the 76th minute with another trad mark header before Winston Reid headed home four minutes later to make it 3-2.

So not many magic moments this season but what were your best West Ham moments of 2016?
