|

scott-hoganWest Ham have made a £10m bid for Brentford striker Scott Hogan but the bid has been turned down by Championship side Brentford, according to Sky Sports News sources.

Hogan is valued at up to £15m by Brentford and has 18 months left on his contract at Griffin Park, but is willing to leave for Premier League football.

The Guardian reported that Watford offered a fee of £8 million plus £2 million in add-ons in the hope of landing the 24-year-old forward and were also turned down flat.

Hogan has scored 14 goals in 25 league appearances this season. Glenn Murray and Dwight Gayle are the only strikers in the second tier to boast a better record so far during this campaign.
