£13 million striker wants Hammers move

|

Fyodor Smolov is today being reported as wanting to join the Irons before the World Cup.

Sky Sports claim that a  source close to the player says West Ham “can end the Cold War” by signing the Krasnodar striker.

The 28-year-old scored for Russia in the country’s defeat by France in midweek and also found the net twice in a friendly against Spain in November 2017.

Sky say he is expected to leave the Russian club this summer and will be available at a fee of between £10 million – £13 million.

David Moyes cooled on the striker in the inter with some reports saying he didn’t consider him strong enough to perform well in the Premier League.

Ligue 1 side Marseille are also interested in a deal for Smolov but the player himself would prefer to move to London.

Smolov has scored 50 goals in 67 games for Krasnodar and 12 times in 30 games for Russia.

What a load of twaddle, we are more likely to see Vladimir Putin in the team than this dude, Russian players are a nightmare to sign, god knows why they are usually rubbish anyway.

Plus there is no point thinking about who we may or may not sign until we are safe from relegation.

If we get relegated, then say good by to Lanzni, Arni ect.
