Hammers in another mess…with Cresswell

Cresswell

Aaron Cresswell and West Ham United are finding themselves in a mess right now!

And with the season just a few days away the club appears to have lost another player for the game against Bournemouth at the weekend.

For Claret and Hugh has been told exclusively this afternoon that the long term Hammers servant is refusing to train following interest from Wolves a week ago.

But what is making the position so much worse is that the midlands club have now pulled out of any deal after the Hammers refused an offer made up solely of extras to the tune of £2.5 million with Cress still refusing to return to Rush Green.

Now the left back has been on the club’s side lines for several days – refusing to train which effectively means that he has gone on strike.

And with Wolves unready to come back in for him the situation is another major problem for the club in what is turning out to be a very difficult summer.

Our key source told us: “Yes, he is not training and now Wolves have pulled out so it really is a mess.”

For once agree with the club, Wolves can’t expect us to hand over a player for free and only get payments when he has met certain clauses. Wolves are likely to be relegation rivals if things go as badly as they could aswell so why would we strengthen them.

Can’t help thinking the club are wrong to be haggling over a fee for a player who’s served them so well for nine years and is clearly no longer Moyes first choice.
And the fee they’re asking for is a fraction of the sort of money they they seem happy to lose on Moyes’ failed signings.

Easy go on strike you don’t get paid!

We are entitled to ask a fee, and if they want Cress then pay it. They are rivals and look at Daws – we paid the same for him, what a bargain. Wolves are playing up by saying no fee, stand firm.
