Report: Hammers lodge pre-bid for striker

|

AC Milan news site  Il Milanista claims West Ham have already made a pre-summer bid to Sevilla for their star striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

En-Nesyri has scored 21 goals in 39 games so far this season amounting 85% of Sevilla’s goals.

The Hammers are said to have submitted a £27m bid in January only to see it rejected but remain interested in the 23-year-old.

West Ham are likely to face competition from Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and AC  Milan according to reports.

The Morocco international could be available for around £40 million this summer and currently earns £50k-a-week.

The 23-year-old is lively, quick and has great mobility and movement. He is pretty good in the air as well. In short, he is a complete striker.

After starting his youth career at Mohammed VI Football Academy, En-Nesyri joined Málaga CF for a fee of €125,000 in 2015.

In 2018, following Malaga’s relegation from the La Liga, En-Nesyri signed a five-year contract with CD Leganés.

In 2020, Sevilla FC signed En-Nesyri from Leganés for a reported €25 million, on a contract lasting to June 2025.

From what I have seen of him, he looks like the real deal, but are we being used as per usual to stir up a bidding war?… cynical but probable 🤔
