Kral: Forget the blame game and trust Moysie

|

News that Alex Kral is not on David Moyes’ mind at the moment will no doubt start the blame game.

Agents make comments about their players publicly when wanting to move them on and that has clearly been close to the case on this occasion.

Both the agent and the club – Spartak Moscow – did little to kill off the rumours that he may be on his way to the Irons with some media outlets even suggesting the Hammers were trying to get it over the line ahead of the Euros.

As is usually the case David Sullivan has already become the target of some fans who claim he doesn’t want to spend money on the player which frankly is unfair and pretty pointless anyway..

For the truth is David Moyes himself has made it abundantly clear over recent days that he is in sole charge of who comes in and who doesn’t. We don’t think he tells porkies.

We understand anyway that he is on holiday in Scotland right now and and let’s be honest if – as some want to believe – Sullivan is still calling the shots then he will deserve the credit for a great season.

Moyes makes the decisions although clearly there is a consultative scenario involved with the board.

Given the manager’s record over the last season I think we can trust him to make the right decisions as he also moves to set up a larger recruitment department.

Media reports from hit hungry sites are one thing – fans believing all they write is quite another!
