Hammers to pack their bags for Scotland

|

West Ham will be bagging their bags for Scotland again as they face Celtic in Glasgow at the weekend.

After spending a week in St Andrews earlier this month  at a five day training camp they will fly back to Scotland either late Thursday or early Friday.

They are rumoured to be staying at the Mar Hall Golf and Spa Hotel close to Glasgow Airport, a hotel popular with football teams visiting the city.

The first team squad will first play Reading FC tonight in their fourth pre-season friendly of the summer.

Kick off is at 3 pm on Saturday at Celtic Park  in front of a home crowd with the Hammers expected to make a quick return London before facing Brentford the following Saturday at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal and Andriy Yarmolenko are unlikely to return in time for this friendly after their Euro 2020 duties.
