Moyes and Sullivan working hard on additions

|

David Moyes and David Sullivan are working hard on bringing in more additions to the West Ham squad after the signing of Alphonse Areola last week from PSG.

A club insider said that both parties have been working night and day to bring in new players with another two deals actively being worked on.

A report by WestHamFans.org    falsely said David Moyes and David Sullivan have had one or two or three ‘heated’ debates regarding player acquisitions. The report went so far as to suggest that those debates were so heated there was a need to have a ‘time out’ from their discussions in order to avoid the situation spiralling out of control.

The club has denied this report saying it is a complete fabrication with no elements of truth whatsoever, as always the manager has identified a list of targets that David Sullivan and others try to get done. There is no suggestion of any disagreement over transfer strategy between the pair.

Reading reports on our current plight regarding acquisitions, namely that Moyes and Sullivan are at loggerheads regards the money available. Some saying there has been some heated arguments between the pair. Another saying that Moyes could walk before our season opener against Newcastle. If this is True, how can anyone honestly back Mr Sullivan’s tenure.

GSB OUT…Last season’s success was down to Moyes not them. This site is definitely pro GSB…

Sorry but don’t believe a word of this article. Heard this all before from the perennial charlatan and truth avoider Sullivan. What more did Moyes need to do to get you to act like you know what you are doing for once Sullivan and back the manager and the team. We need 4 players not 2 if we are going to be able to do ourselves justice in both competitions this coming season and now this site is reporting that Pereira isn’t even a priority, you gotta be kidding because Lingard isn’t coming back, that is absolutely clear. There are 2 clubs in the EPL run by owners who shouldn’t be trusted ever and ate a disgrace to their fans and their teams and they are Newcastle and us. GSB out

  • Rik Hammond says:

“Working night and day”. Where have I heard that one before? Oh yeah, from the same source as “we tried but transfers are really difficult” and “don’t go to bed”.

Blah! Blah! Blah! Roll on 2023 when these 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 sell the club to someone who cares…

  • Bob says:

C+H May as well be sponsored by GSB. The amount of balls licking that goes on, with a lack of any reald ebate is mindblowing

That’s not fair to Hugh. This site was never set up as an independent news source. It was to assist in the decimation of positive news stories about West Ham and the board.

It was a sensible decision as it’s helped Sullivan get his message across to the fans without critical thinking getting in the way.

  • Selsdonhammer says:

Maybe they need to work a lot harder. Actions speak louder than words. So far we have signed one potential first team player.

  • gsbout says:

Sean and Hugh, it would appear the GSB OUT ‘mob’ have much greater numbers than you first thought – even in your comments section there are many more comments regarding GSB OUT, than GSB IN.
Have you forgotten the log in details of the fake accounts you make? Where is Saul today?

It’s quite clear that this site will do anything to keep GSB IN, and you have to question why that might be.
(I think we all know the answer.)

    • Saul says:

Busy day, apologies for not responding to this article, glad you missed me though!!!!

I am a little taken aback that you think i’m a fake but i’ve been called worse.

I am a bit concerned by our lack of activity though and i reckon there could be truth in the rumour that Moyes is p****d off, based on his comments and body language, after last weeks friendly, that we weren’t that close on signing somebody.

Still, it’s not worth worrying over, a mid-table season awaits alongside some European excitement, which i’m ok with. The fake me thinks we’ll win the League but he’s a moron and i wouldn’t believe anything he says…

      GSBIN

Oh Dear you’ve sussed us out.
I’m really a spurs supporter who likes to come on here and wind you all up 😉

  • The Cat says:

Most supporters who had followed the reasons why Moyes had just signed a new long-term contract with the club, understood that integral to that contract was the money that would be available for new signings.
It is sickening that the “Toxic Element” who seem to know better than the rest of us, are determined to put this club onto the back pages for all the wrong reasons. As soon as we get to our knees, and are given something to smile about, it’s back to fire-fighting with this lot.

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

If we have over £100 million we can borrow as previously mentioned via a credit facility and we know we are many players short of a squad capable of competing in Europe it is odd that we haven’t got deals done, Sima/Masopust/Pereira/Hlozek/Milenkovic etc and what’s worse the Coufal and Rice contract extensions … if those rumours are true GSB are on very shaky ground.

    • David noton says:

GSB need to go they havent the finances to support our club. In addition the relaitonship with a large percentage of fan base is broken.

  • Graham says:

Funny how these Moyes Sullivan argument rumours surfaced just at the same time as the guy who played a huge part in ruining QPR, is trying to buy our club.

I’ve spent the last 18 months telling my mates it’s total rubbish that how good we were last season was linked to the no fans in the ground. Fans riled already, demonstrations planned etc. Should have saved my breath because I have a terrible feeling I’ll be proved wrong by Christmas.

  • Carthorse says:

The negativity of some “supporters” is unbelievable. Do you really want to go back to the Pellegrini days and us sign any old player who has nothing to offer and then ***** and moan when they are crap?

We had a fantastic season, I have to question if it was partly down to the negative supporters not being in the ground and affecting the team. The sort that let out an almighty groan the first time that a pass goes astray and get on a players back as soon as we kick off.

  • West Aussie Hammer 1 says:

As a Supporter I will always follow Westham and I do it from Aus.
I do understand the angst some people have regarding the ownership. They have not really been professional in how they have run the club. They should of set up a proper scouting network 10 years ago and continued it. But Sully wants to play FM. The Pelli era was dreadful but a smarter approach years ago and we would be fine.
I as a supporter don’t want the club to be laughing stock.
We should be grabbing those players when they are 18-21. If RB Leipzig can then so can we.

  • James Pain says:

What an awful picture to choose of Sullivan.

Maybe Moyes and Sullivan need to work smarter rather than harder. Whenever I read works day and night. It always sounds more like a scatter gun approach than laser focused pursuit.

Anyway we will see where the squad is in 30 days time
