The Hammers have had a big boost ahead of the clash with deadly rivals Spurs at the London Stadium next weekend.

According to reports – per Hammers news – two players – believed to be Son Heung-min and Bryan Gil -mare likely to be absent for the match which comes after the Hammers scrap with Genk next Thursday evening.

The Spurs pair are reported to have tested positive for covid and so long as the Hammers are all  fit after their two games tomorrow and Thursday we may be able to reap a benefit.

 Sky Sports were among those who broke the news that two players returned from the international break and failed to record negative tests.

And according to Hammers News,  overnight reports have suggested that the players are indeed Gil and Son (TBR).

Neither of the pair  are in the Tottenham squad to face newly minted Newcastle.

.“Both men, who trained with the group on Thursday, were shown to have contracted Covid-19 after tests in the last 24 hours; a significant contingent of the club’s playing squad have been away on international duty,” Sky Sports reported on Friday
