It was very disappointing to hear boos ring out at the end of last night’s game at the London Stadium.
It is always hard to concede a late goal to miss out on a win but we must put things in perspective.
We have nine games in December and none are easy.
The suggestion that we would walk over Brighton last night despite never beating them in the Premier League was always a tough ask. They are our bogey team and to be fair to them they played well in the second half and deserved the point.
If West Ham had have held on to win the game it would have been an undeserved but welcomed result.
We live in democracy where people are allowed to express themselves freely but I am not sure what booing off their own team and manager is expected to achieve!
Was over for the game last night and thought the booing was more aimed at the Ref and VAR rather than the Team. We’ve played better, but overall were close to digging out a crucial win, so certainly the team did not deserve to be booed off if that was the case.
Agreed IH, that’s my take on the situation, dissatisfactions of several dubious refereeing decisions, or no decisions!
Was all for Arthur.
helpful
No he wasnt
Booing your own player is never helpful…bit like sarcasm
I think if there were any boos directed at the team it was out of frustration for losing the lead so late and the fact that we had the chance to really get away with one….
By our early season standards we were woeful. By our recent standards we were sloppy. Got played off the park for majority of second half, their goal was inevitable up to about 75 mins when we wrestled back some control and then low and behold Maupay comes up with that from nowhere really and win gone…
We’ve hit a rut that all teams do we’ve just got to try and play our way out of it but Antonio, Benrahma, Fornals, Soucek, Zouma all not at the level they were. Makes a big difference to the team and its capability…
No panic, but Moyes for the first time really this season with some puzzles to solve!
