Moyes hints at Zouma’s mental worries

Kurt Zouma’s biggest problem may be inside his own head as he prepares for the game against Newcastle at the London Stadium tomorrow.

David Moyes  he had suffered a gastric problem Moyes admits that he and the club have been pressing him to concentrate on hs football but the incident with his top cat and its reaction is likely to be playing on his mind.

There was much conjecture that he missed the game against Leicester City maybe as a result until it became clear that from which it is wide.ly believed he has now recovered.

Moyes has insisted from the outset of the affair that whilst everybody is pretty ashamed he has to pick a team to win games and that has become his first priority.

He will be hoping to follow up on a very good performance against Watford before his illness against a team we really do need to beat and over which we would achieve a double after am opening day victory.

The manager said: “I think he’s probably really disappointed about what he’s done and he’s thinking about it a lot, no doubt, but overall we have tried to get him to move on.”
