Hammers give Ogbonna update

|

Angelo Ogbonna has made it clear he is on his way back.

ClaretandHugh made it clear a couple of weeks ago that was the case and the player has now taken to instagram to confirm his position explaining he’s back in the gym.

The central defender has been sorely missed at times notably – being left sided – in starting attacking moves down that side of the pitch.

Now however  the club has confirmed to us that he has a chance of making it back into the team for the last few games of the season.

He has received injury to a knee surgery and has now been missing since breaking down against Liverpool in a dramatic Hammers victory at the London Stadium.

However, it looks possible that he may defy the odds of being out for the rest of the season and will certainly be offered another year’s contract by the club.

And we were told this morning by a key insider: “Oggy has done really well and could be back for the last two or three games.”
