West Ham are weighing up a move to sign Timo Hubers from FC Koln in the summer, according to a new report from the Daily Mail.
The Hammers are one of a number of clubs weighing up a potential swoop to sign the centre-back.
Newcastle, Leeds, and Crystal Palace are all said to be keeping a close eye on his situation, with scouts watching him play in Germany, while the Hammers, Southampton and Fulham are also said to be eyeing up a deal.
Hubers is set to enter the final 12 months of his deal in the summer and could be available for a knock-down price.
The report states that he would cost a bargain £6m, although the level of interest may see that price rise.
Hubers is a ball-playing defender and he has made 15 appearances in the Bundesliga thus far this season, with Koln currently sitting comfortably in eighth in the table.
