Mark Noble would not be an option should the Hammers eventually be forced to allow David Moyes to leave the club.
It has to be said that the board are desperate to see Moyes turn things around at our long suffering club.
There is no queue of replacement possible bosses and everybody at board level have their fingers crossed that we can negotiate our way through the present problems.
Marcelo Bielsa has been named as one possible and we understand from insiders that he would be ready to take over.
But the board have experience of him at interview level when appointing Slaven Bilic rather than the 67 year old Argentine and were not impressed with his zero knowledge of English. That remains the case.
A known eccentric, he is not being seen as a man who could instil the sort of spirit into the under achieving squad anyway.
With the likes of Pochetinno and Tuchel looking for clubs involved in Champions Leaguer football that leaves the likes of Biesa and Sean Dyche and neither appeal.
Ridiculous attitude, there are loads of great options out there but you have to pay for them e.g. Croatia manager. Another option is putting Nevin in on a temporary basis (I would like to see what he would do differently in charge). The bottom line Moyes and Warbutten need to be kicked out of the club as soon as possible, they have lost the respect of the players and fans and that will not change now.
Btw don’t be surprised to see Soucek back in the team tomorrow night !! The team I would play is Fab/Areola, Coufal, Dawson, Aguerd, Ogbonna, Bowen (as LWB), Rice, Paqueta, Fornals (link between midfield and 2 forwards who I would have Benrahma playing off Scammaca. I think this is a very good team, the big issue with playing Bowen up top is that he has to play 5-2-3 but by playing that system there is no link between the midfield and forwards. By dropping Bowen back to a LWB position and by bringing Fornals into that 10 position and by playing Benrahma up close to Scamacca this is possible. I am afraid has Moyes has neither the bravery or the tactical no how to figure this out or its back to his stubborness he is right and everyone else is wrong.
Has to be Hassenhuttl.
I know he had 2 very bad losses in this time at Southampton but he still picked that team up off the floor. Even Wenger lost 8-2 once.
What makes him suitable? Well, Wiki helps us all, sometimes.
He has had success in many roles. Early with VfR Aalen, where he got them promoted from Bundesliga 3 (or 3 Bundesliga?) and then took them to the top half the next season, and eventually left without any downturn in fortunes.
Ingolstadt: In his first season, he took them from bottom of the 2. Bundesliga to tenth place. In the 2014–15 season, Hasenhüttl took Ingolstadt to the Bundesliga for the first time, finishing the season as 2. Bundesliga champions. In the 2015–16 season, he was successful in securing Ingolstadt’s Bundesliga survival, finishing in 11th place
RB Leipzig: In his and the club’s debut season in the Bundesliga, Hasenhüttl guided Leipzig to a second-place finish. The following season, the club finished sixth. He resigned.
Southampton: This is the one you know him from and the one where his achievements are belittled because, apparently, the only context to analyse a coach is league position and cups won. As such, the fact that he basically only signed young players, as far as I can see never spent over £20m on a single player, played attractive football on the front foot, coached a team of young players and older heads to press effectively as a team, always kept them in the division even with restrictions on his business, was comfortable playing those young players, developing them and then moving on when they were sold.
Look at those young players: Broja, Livramento, Perraud, Salisu, Kyle Walker-Peters, Adams (was 23? when bought). Those players would never have been given a chance with us, but their values have all probably tripled for being coached by him. It is no coincidence.
He’s always kept them in the league, with a varied approach that values on hard work and on the ball ability. They were never a tippy-tappy side, they had levels and ways to win.
If he had won the Championship with them, people would cream over him, but the harder achievement of staying up and competing in the Premier League isn’t sexy enough, frankly. Michael Carrick and Vinny Kompany are doing fine jobs, but they’ve done nothing to compare to Hasenhuttl’s job at Southampton or his work before then. Chris Wilder got people here wet for a season, he’s not got half the CV.
We are at the level we are, and that level should be seeing someone achieve like that in clubs like those and giving them the platform to do it with a better budget and higher expectations. We can all dream of Champions League winning Thomas Tuchel taking his next job at West Ham, but it’s insane. He’s done brilliantly abroad, moved here and shown he can do it.
Let’s face it, no better manager than David Moyes to take us till the end of the season.

I seem to remember that the reason Bielsa was turned down in 2015 was because he didn’t think he could do a job with the team he would have inherited (Allardyce’s team) and wanted to rebuild it.

What a miserable miserly attitude yet again from our out of date owners who seem to outright refuse to look at anyone not available on a free.
Instead of just picking up the latest unemployed failure, who don’t you identify someone who could really take the club forward , and move heaven and earth to get them .
Reminds me of the old cliche ‘We’re too good to go down’. They won’t sack Moyes and we will pick up and end up with, maybe, The Euro Conference.
