Good news on Ayew

|

andreayew726David Sullivan has revealed that new right back loan signing Alvaro Arbeloa won’t be ready to take his place in the team for another two or three weeks.

The co-chairman said: “We explored all avenues and managed to secure the signature of one of the more experienced full backs in the world and one with Premier League experience.”

“He is ideally a few weeks away from playing in a game as he has not trained with a team since May and needs more time.”

But Sullivan has cautiously good news on record signing Andre Ayew saying: “We are just unlucky. He is a player that is never usually injured, but he is progressing very well and we hope he might be back sometime in October or early November, a lot earlier than was initially anticipated.”
