Italian outfits eye Zaza!

|

zaza2Simone Zaza could be at the centre of a tug of war between Valencia and Naples should West Ham choose to close hs loan deal in January.

The Italy international from Juventus has been in a shocking form and ClaretandHugh reported a few days ago that the Irons could end his stay in the next window.

With Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho returning to fitness he will have a huge battle to maintain his place and he has done nothing so far to justify a massive £20 odd million agreed with Juvents should the deal be made permanent.

CandH was told: “He will have to fight hard for his place and it is the case that he could return in January should things not work out.

We will all make our decisions nearer the time but at the moment we have other issues to address like climbing out of the bottom three.”

According to reports in Spain, new Valencia manager Cesare Prandelli is keen on signing the 25-year-old as he knows Zaza well from his time as Italy boss.

Napoli are also being tipped to make an offer after they missed out on Zaza in the summer when he chose a move to England ahead of a switch to Naples.

What a load of tosh, give the guy a break he hasn’t had one decent ball put into him so we are yet to see what he can do. We paid out a huge loan fee for an Italian international player, he has had a few games where he has been starved of supply by a lazy team and is being played as though he is Andy Carroll which he is not, I don’t know whether it will work out for him or not but I wouldn’t say he has been useless as he hasn’t been given any support by many of his team mates or any chance by a section of fans and the media to just settle in and find his feet.

Sounds like his Agent is getting busy!

He’s done his standing no good whatsoever by playing like a carthorse, on a par with Maiga as one of the worst players to play for West Ham in the last ten years – and believe me we have had some duds!

The sooner he is shipped out the better!
