Report: Sam eyeing Delph

|

DelphAston Villa’s Fabian Delph is this morning being reported as a target for the Hammers.

As the club looks to tie up the deal which would see Enner Valencia join the club this weekend, reports have arisen in The Mirror that the former Leeds midfielder is on the Hammers wish list.

A fee of £5 million is being quoted for a player who  is in the last year of his deal at Villa Park.

Sam Allardyce is said to be keen to bring him to the club but with just three goals in 78 games there may, if the reports are correct, be some reservations from the board.

Combative, young player who would improve West Ham – I must admit I don’t understand what is happening at Villa – the last couple of years they’ve relied on youth now they’re signing a load of old crocks – a recipe for disaster!

Oh well, one less Relegation spot to worry about!
