Bilic lays it on line as Swansea mega match approaches

|

Slaven-Bilic (1)Slaven Bilic has admitted it is “very, very vital” the Irons beat Swansea this weekend.

This is the second game of the four from which David Sullivan said two wins were “vital” ahead of the vote of confidence in Bilic before the team lost to the Gunners.

Now Bilic has declared:  “A win in this game [Swansea] is now very, very vital. We have to start winning games. We are in that fight now. Its not being negative. Its being realistic.”

He added: “After five defeats of course you can’t talk about great confidence. Now is the time to show leadership. There is only one game for us.

“I haven’t lost my belief in them – they are good players. We just need that win. [Swansea] are five points behind us. I am not expecting the beautiful game on Saturday – we have to win and give everything.”

Win and its hard to see Swansea clawing back 9 points from their remaining fixtures to overtake us.Lose and it really could be the finale to a quite dreadful season on and off the pitch.Still its only football.
